Fujifilm Shorts 2010

movieScope Magazine is a proud sponsor and judge of Fujifilm Shorts 2010.  The inaugural competition this year saw some of the best short films I have seen in a long time, with my personal favourite being ‘Outcasts’.

The competition consists of one short film category with an open brief. Two prizes will be awarded - ‘Best Film’ and ‘Best Cinematography’. All submissions must be shot, in their entirety, on Fujifilm Motion Picture film stock and must have been completed after 1 January 2008.

All submissions must be less than 30 minutes long. Fujifilm Shorts is free to enter and entrants can submit as many short films as they like.

Prizes being awarded include: £2,000 worth of Fujifilm Motion Picture stock, a ‘Rushes Package’ courtesy of Technicolor, a five day lighting hire package courtesy of Panalux, a Camera and Dolly hire package courtesy of Panavision and a ‘Three-day Weekend’ studio hire package courtesy of Island Studios, London.

Please send your submission on DVD with a completed entry form to: Jerry Deeney, Fujifilm Shorts, 56 Poland Street, London, W1F 7NN. The closing date for entries is 29 January 2010.
