This is one for the lensers out there.  If you’re one of those great unsung heroes otherwise known as a cinematographer, then you definitely won’t want to miss this one…

We’re offering one lucky filmmaker the opportunity of a lifetime; an all-expenses paid, 3-day visit to Europe’s premier and wholly unique festival for cinematographers, PlusCamerimage.

Held annually in Lodz, Poland, PlusCamerimage runs from November 28 to December 5, 2009, and is without a doubt the world’s most recognised festival dedicated to the art of cinematography and cinematographers, regularly attracting some of the biggest names in film.

Past attendees and award winners of this 16 year old festival have included Peter Weir, Roger Deakins, Vilmos Zsigmond, Lazlo Kovacs, Norman Jewison, David Lynch,  Joel Coen, John Malkovich, Willem Dafoe, Ken Loach, Oliver Stone, Julia Ormond, Tom Tykwer, Andrej Bartowiak, Dante Ferretti, Janusz Kaminski and Alan Parker.
