After starting his career as an intern for Will Smith and James Lassiter at Overbrook Entertainment, Franklin joined Columbia from MGM in 2005, and has worked on films like The Karate Kid, Jumping the Broom and the upcoming Whitney Houston-starrer Sparkle.
His next project will be the adpatation of bestselling novel Heaven is For Real.
