The deal is effective immediately, with FilmNation representing Good Films’ projects to market at Berlinale 2013.
The slate of six movies with budgets between US$10-$52million;m the first two, Invisible and The Infiltrator, will go in to production this summer.
As announced at AFM, Good’s upcoming slate includes:
Founded in 2008 by film executive Glen Basner, FilmNation Entertainment’s slate has previously included films by Steven Soderbergh, Terrence Malick, Pedro Almodóvar, Jeff Nichols and Sofia Coppola among others.
Producer and Founder of Good Films Miriam Segal said: “Our strategy is to handpick long-term finance and creative partners across all our films, essentially creating our own ‘mini-studio’ with a cohesive vision and identity. FilmNation is a very like-minded company and so we’re delighted that they have embraced our strategy and come on board to work with us creatively and handle sales for upcoming projects.”
