G-Technology today announced the launch of two new products at NAB in Las Vegas which they hope will redefine the way creative professionals workflow their storage requirements.
The new G-Technology Evolution Series features a two-bay, Thunderbolt equipped docking station (G-DOCK ev) with interchangeable and expandable external storage modules to make the transfer, editing and distributing content throughout the workflow scalable, efficient and more reliable. Each module can also act as true stand-alone external hard drives in their own right.
G-DOCK ev, which includes two 1TB G-DRIVE ev modules, will be available in May with a MSRP of £499.95
Also announced, was G-Tech’s new G-Drive PRO, a compact 3.5 inch external desktop hard drive that delivers storage capacity with SSD-like performance (with speeds of up 480MB/s) thanks to the benefits of Thunderbolt.
The G-DRIVE PRO with Thunderbolt will be available summer 2013 through G-Technology. The RRP for the 4TB G-DRIVE PRO with Thunderbolt will be £674.95. A 2TB G-DRIVE PRO with Thunderbolt solution will be available for £ 554.95.
