TAKE 2 takes stock with £1.25 million expansion

UK independent film equipment rental company TAKE 2 recently announced an investment of £1.25 million to acquire the latest camera and lense equipment available on the international market. The investment establishes the company as one of the UK’s largest independent film equipment rental outfits and follows their recent expansion into lighting.

Acquisitions include eight new ARRI Alexa Studios (pictured left), two sets of Leica Primes and new Angenieux and Alura Mini Zooms which will be available to hire from spring 2012. This compliments an additional investment in RED Epics which are already working with crews across the UK.

Commenting on the acquisition following a successful IBC, Glyn Edridge, Managing Director of TAKE 2 added, “We are proud to be the largest independent stockist of the ARRI Alexa Studio in the UK. Whether it’s a feature or a commercial, we can meet the requirements of all DoP’s with our very comprehensive array of stock and the latest equipment on the market.”
