The low-budget horror The Reverend has been acquired by Metrodome for release in Britain and Ireland.
Written and directed by Neil Jones, the film stars Blade Runner star Rutger Hauer and British-Turkish actor Tamer Hassan, who has had small parts in Kick Ass, Batman Begins, Layer Cake and Eastern Promises.
The Welsh-born Jones moved to America as a child, and trained to become a preacher at the age of twenty.
The U.K. based independent distribution company plans a limited theatrical run for the movie from August 3 this year.
The Reverend is the story of a freshly-trained reverend posted to a beautiful rural outpost before struggling to find a connection with the local residents.
The deal was negotiated between Jones and Metrodome Head of Acquisitions Joel Kennedy and Acquisitions Manager Giles Edwards.
