Best Supporting Male went to Christoph Waltz for Inglorious Basterds, while Best Supporting Female to Mo’nique for Precious: Based on the Novel Push By Sapphire.
Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds added another award to its cabinet, by taking home Outstanding Performance By a Cast in a Motion Picture. Elsewhere, Kevin Bacon was named Best Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries for his role in military drama Taking Chance, and Drew Barrymore awarded Best Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries for the made-for-TV film Grey Gardens.
