Helen Mirren Sees Red

Oscar-winning British actress Helen Mirren (The Queen) has signed on to star next to Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman in espionage thriller Red, Summit Entertainment’s adaptation of the WildStorm/DC comic book written by Warren Ellis and illustrated by Cully Hamner.

The three-book graphic novel series was published in 2003 and 2000, and the story follows a former CIA agent who is enjoying is quiet retirement - until an assassin shows up to kill him. Red will start shooting in January 2010, for a November release in America
